Syracuse man found with meth, fentanyl sentenced to 11 years in federal prison

Syracuse, N.Y. — A Syracuse man was sentenced Tuesday to more than 11 years in federal prison on several drug charges.
The man, Jamall Harris, 45, was sentenced to serve 87 months for possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl with intent to distribute. He pleaded guilty in May.
Harris admitted that last November he possessed about 1,200 grams of a mixture and substance with methamphetamine, and about 2 grams of fentanyl, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York.
